Dr. Gilbert is available to provide long term treatment for chronic pain and addicition for patients that prefer to avoid narcotics. There are many non narcotic options for patients with regard to treatment.
**Surgical paitents will have their surgical pain managed by Dr. Gilbert with needed narcotic and non narcotic medications for 14 days post-op.**
In light of the current laws and best practices for addiction treatment and pain managment, Dr. Gilbert is available to perform consultations on patients being treated at suboxone, methadone and pain treatment centers. Current law suggests that providers may benefit from having their long term patients periodically assesed by a qualified third party.
